My new digital painting was made as a cover art for a new book of czech writer Petr Schink. The books name is Dirty work and it is inspired by the game Fallout. It takes place in alternative fifties, when the energy crisis culminates. The books hero is a hacker and gangster. The cover art was made in photoshop and it took many many hours of work. I better dont count them :) The book is only in czech, but if is here some interested publisher, you can contact me in my profile :)

Dirty work by ~hunterkiller is one of the most detailed images I've seen in some time. The perspective and the way light and shadow play on each other only builds the height and depth of this image, leaving me staring at it for some time to take in all the elements employed here. This is a very well thought out piece of art from a very patient artist. (Suggested by ~skull and Featured by `Aeires)

Brilliant. Just brilliant! You've captured the style brilliantly, the silhouetted character looks great.. it makes a brilliant cover.
Just.. one niggle though. The sign for Roentgen beer on the left - I'm guessing that's meant to be in English? You've misspelt 'whole'. >.<

Well, never mind. As you say, it's not got an English release, but I thought I'd point it out in case you do choose to publish in Westerly climes. You've got everything looking enticing with this cover so I don't see much of a problem if you do find a publisher! ^_^

Holy Fuc**ng Sh*T dude! I cant believe that this is a Digital Painting done with a hand!! Its simply amazing! The contrast, the mood, the perspctive.. everything is just soo cool! :wow:
You could make a real Poster out of this.. a Poster for the book! cool!
Its definately worth a +Fav! And it shoud be a DailyDeviation! :D
